Are you moving into your student room soon? Want to get equipped without breaking the bank — and do something good for the planet? The Infor Jeunes Mons Gratiféria is made for you!
Thanks to the donations we receive, you’ll find a wide selection of free items to help you settle in comfortably, economically, and sustainably.
What is the Gratiféria?
The Gratiféria is a donation space just for students — a real “free market.”
Dishes, small appliances, small furniture, decoration… you can take what you need free of charge.
💡 It’s also a great way to:
- fight overconsumption
- reduce waste
- give a second life to usable items
When and how to pick up items?
📅 From July 1st to November 30th,
🕛 During our regular opening hours – no appointment needed!
What can you find at the Gratiféria?
Here’s a sample of commonly available items (and accepted from donors):
- 🧑🍳 Kitchen & dishes
Plates, glasses, cups, cutlery, pots, bowls… - ⚡ Small appliances
Microwaves, kettles, toasters, coffee machines, sandwich makers… - 🪑 Practical furniture
Chairs, side tables, shelves, storage units, lamps… - 🎨 Decoration
Cushions, curtains, frames, decorative objects… - 💻 IT equipment
Mice, keyboards, screens, laptop stands… - 📎 Office & miscellaneous
Pencil holders, staplers, hangers, hole punchers…
Everything is shared in a spirit of community and solidarity — take what you need while being mindful of other students.
Want to donate something?
Students or donors — everyone can take part!
If you’re a student, you’re welcome to collect what you need.
If you’re a parent, a local resident, or a family with items in good condition, your donation is welcome!
By donating, you help young people settle in without extra cost, and you contribute to a more sustainable approach.
We do not accept:
bedding, household linens (unless new), clothes, shoes, or damaged/broken items.
Please check that your items are clean and functional before bringing them.
